Gardeners of the Beach Flats Community Garden march with over 200 supporters of the jardín to Santa Cruz City Council meeting on Tuesday October 27, 2015 where all members of the City Council committed to securing a permanent space for the garden. With the November 13th deadline still on the horizon, the gardeners and community seek the city's support in negotiating with the Seaside Co. to renew the lease of the land and develop a long-term strategy to purchase the plot.
